Dawn of Truth

I opened the door

and entered within.

Life’s possibilities

spread before me

in droplets of light

and dark sabers.

The path swerved

and I was overtaken

by the dawn of truth

and was torn

into infinite pieces

by marauding crows.

Life is full of chances

and choices

and I picked

the wrong one.

I will close this door

and start

all over again

before I am consumed

by “too late!”
