Another Tear
He stood under the light. Crying. Staring into his soul. Wondering why they did it. What was their motivation? They knew he was barely holding on. He gribbed his phone tighter. Tears dripped down his chin. He tried to hold it in, but couldn’t. The sobs ripped through the silence like a knife piercing the skin. The sound of pure agony rocking the room. His breath shaking. He placed them in his hand. Put it to his mouth, but stopped. He turned on his phone. More hate. Opening up his texts to his mom, his only friend, he sent one word, ”Goodbye.”
