Ignorance Is Bliss
If ignorance is bliss would she whisper she loves me?
If ignorance is bliss would she kiss me goodnight?
I’ve thought much of this, as I shiver in loneliness
A false love is just as real as a true love
If stars light up the sky as I speak high of darkness
If chills rose on her spine as I shiver and cry
Then maybe its life, opposed of my frailties
Composing a song that keeps me caught in the silence
If ignorance is bliss would she tell me she misses me?
If ignorance is bliss would she stand by my side?
The moon is eclipsed by the outline of her lips
I stand motionless, she blows me a kiss
Ignorance is bliss.
