Strawberry Festival

Not the taste of sweet

Summer berries, nor

The feel of sticky dripping

The wave of nausea

As the coaster dipped

Escapes my sentiment

The tickle in my belly

(And below!) when I lay

next to HIM and embraced

Sweet summer heat persists

Through three decades

Still pinkens my cheeks
