Ramblin’ God
I’m a rambler, I keep no home,
I come from beyond the trees and the great blue dome.
To come to understand mankind, and gain wisdom,
I come ramblin’ about this here animal kingdom.
I put on my cowboy hat and trench coat, and hop on my motorcycle, named Slipper,
And sling about my back my rifle, that I humorously named Gunner.
I ride about, from saloon to saloon and city to city,
Seeking wisdom in the form of the Mead of Poetry,
Though, as long as the bartenders treat me nice,
A bottle of whiskey shall suffice.
