Is in the kitchen

My greatest adversary is in the kitchen

And it may seem odd

But it is the 8 inch round pan

With which I always bake

My friend and my enemy indeed

It gives me such good shape

Yet things never seem to turn out quite right,

Never perfect

All the flavor is there

Texture is sublime

Truly everything is fine but outward appearances

I could never figure out why

-Why it’s just that one pan that loathes me

And I, it

—So I just stopped trying and accepted this foe as formidable
