Millennials: the offended generation.
Be honest and tick the ones you've heard - or even uttered:
What a pussy.
You run like a girl.
Are you gonna cry like a little girl?
Man up!
Come here, you faggot!
Buuuutch.
Ew, that's gay!
Why don't you go put a skirt on?
We millennials get offended because language
is either abussive or, yes, offensive.
These expressions are in every conversation and
it's been overlooked way too many times.
There are not more LGBT people now
than there used to be.
Nowadays it's a little bit less scary to be who you are.
It doesn't mean it's easy.
It's been a long way,
too long for us to just sit and
accept being turnt into an insult.
Again.
How are skirts any funny?
How is a man in a skirt anything to laugh at?
Women wear skirts sometimes,
are women ridiculous to you?
If you're weak - or feel too much,
you need to man up,
because women are weak.
And being like a woman is the worst thing that could happen.
Bring gender roles down.
And millennials won't get offended.
Bring LGBTphobia down.
And millennials won't get offended.
Pay attention to your own words.
Look and see where they come from,
and change them.
It is easy.
