Tired
The life I lead
Is not what I see
Everytime I catch a glimpse
Of the real me.
I'm tired of the anger
I'm tired of the greed
I'm tired of hoping
That you want to be with me.
I'm tired of the fighting
I'm tired of the fear
Of saying something
That you may not want to hear.
I'm tired of the waiting
I'm tired of the same
I'm tired of wishing
You'd look at me again.
I'm tired of the talking
I'm tired of the walls
I'm tired of all of this
Just tired of it all.
And as much as I see it
And I try to deny
I can plainly see
What is before my eyes.
I don't like to think about it
Because I don't want it to be
But what I fear that I feel
Is the end of you and me.
