Incomplete without you.
“She was like... a river, ” He, once said. “Calm, gracious and so overflowing with emotion,” He looked solemnly as his eyes gazed into the distance– reminiscing. “She felt like home,”
“Whenever I was around him, I felt.. this warm feeling. Like he was natural. And like being with him was meant to be,” She, once said. “I even surprised myself a few times when I did something I wouldn’t usually. It was unreal. He became a pillar in my life. Even if he was just broken– like me, there was something different about him. Something that made me rethink about my life and to make a change. And with him–” She paused for a moment before she smiled and her eyes twinkled with something unreadable. “With him, I felt like I belonged,”

Pale turquoise eyes lowered as they stared at the ground. Staring infinitely into the grey concrete.
“Hey!” Moving her head upwards, a girl blinked as she saw a familiar face running towards her. With a sigh, her grief-stricken face spilt into a bright smile. Her aura turning bright and full of happiness as she waved.
“Where did you go?” Her friend questioned when she got close to her. “I was looking for you. You really had me worried me there,”
“Oh, really? Sorry..” A guilty expression. The girl apologised as she averted her eyes. “I just wanted to explore the place,”
“Fine,” Her friend sighed at her. Then she gave a sloppy smile in return as her hand dropped on her shoulders. “Just don’t make me worry again. Anyways, let’s go and this time we can explore together!” And with a smile, the friend started to walk away.
And as soon as the girl saw her friend turn her back towards her—
The smile was gone as her mask dropped and a blank expression appeared. Her eyes looked so tired. But– Just a little more, she would hear. Just a little more, and then she would force herself to smile.
Walking forward to catch up to her ‘friend’ the girl ‘smiled’ again. How long must she keep this for? Just a little mo—
Red stained her hand as she curled her hand into a fist. Squeezing. And squeezing– until she drew blood. Nails digging into her skin, her flesh. But she ignored it– it wasn't the first time. And like all those other times, the girl swallowed as she let the fake, deceiving smile stretch.
Just a little longer.

The sky turned dark as night came. There was no stars or moon that evening. All there was, were the grey, ominous clouds looming high overhead. A mare moment of warning of a drop of water. When— Roar! The rain came crashing down into the streets and reactions were instant. Umbrellas were drawn and some people ran.
In amongst this crowd, a boy strolled. He strolled in the heavy rain. His face was neither in bliss or in frustration– but just blank. Black eyes that watched the drops of rain as they hit his face. His skin and then—
pierced his core.
He loved the rain or so he thought. He never knew what he loved or hated anymore. Or what it meant to love. There wasn't anything that could cause a reaction from him anymore, well except this– this rain.
He thought nothing about the cold piercing touch of rain on his skin. He thought nothing about how his clothes were dripping wet. Or how they rain fell but how it looked as they fell. In harsh motions, the rain fell and he watched it as it did and it felt..fascinating? He felt curious? The rain made him—
A warm hand dropped on his cheek as the blurred figure caressed it. Blonde locks of hair tickling at his face. “Did you fall down again?”
The shadowed figure (a woman?) questioned softly and he felt she was smiling rather than seeing it. And He knew she holds an important significance to his life...
The boy blinked as he found himself back to the real world. This was another reason he particularly liked the rain. Or was it loved?
It reminded of him warm memories that tingled the hallow wound in his heart. And it made him feel agian. The boy blinked as he caught something red at the corner of his eyes.
He thought he saw a faint red string wrapped his pinky before it was gone as he blinked.
