Waking up

walking out

stepping on stage

sitting behind the drums in the dark

The guitarst and I make a bet

the lights turn on

we finished our set

we walk backstage

looking at the audence gauge

we come back for an encore

then we leave the venue.

Were taling and drnking

suddeny a sharp pain in my stomach

It hurts so bad it wakes me up

I open my eyes

my vision focuses

I see my dog nex to me

his back paw on my stomach.

I turn over

he lays back down

we both sleep till the sun comes throuhg the blinds.
