Tired

I'm tired.

My eyes are sagging.

I long to sleep for hours more.

I've run out of energy.

And when it comes time to rest,

I become sleepless.

I toss and turn in the night

thinking about lifes problems.

I ask if I am selfish.

I ask if I have real friends.

I ask other questions

that leave me alert and wide awake.

I am restless.

I am tired.
