happiness

happiness stands

with crooked teeth and jagged lines

upon her skin

but still smiling

with all of purity

glimmering on her broken hands

happiness falls

with laughter and love

she is killed by a small

touch of disgrace

happiness lurks in

the corner of the room

waiting for her chance

to reveal herself again

and take off the mask of light
