The Mirror
I signed my name in lipstick
At the bottom of my mirror
Hoping it could tell me who I am
Make my identity clearer
A one man show
Encompassed in my reflection
As I tear myself a part
In a one man dissection
An image once so whole
Now lays in fragments and shards
Like a mosaic waiting to be reassembled
It’s beauty only visible from afar
