Neighbor hurts neighbor

Society is out of balance

Compassion is in the past

We’re swimming in a pool of violence

People don’t care for each other

Just listen to their comments

Destruction not encouragement

In this pool of violence

People push away not pulling near

Desiring their own voice and your silence

Acting like they only matter

This world is a pool of violence

How quickly people hurt each other

Like strikes of lightning

Damaging others to build themselves up

Drowning in their pool of violence
