Rhyming definition
I don’t feel much like writing lately, so I thought I would create a challenge to inspire you all to write instead. Write a definition, and make it rhyme. I have provided an example. Tag me to read your entry. (Let’s keep it fair: no mass tagging, please)
The Ghost of a Moment
The moment has passed
Yet it lingers and haunts
The die has been cast
The results are a taunt
The action is done
And can never return
Regret is a sun
For those yet there it burns
The ghost is that helpless instant
When disaster looms distant
That indeterminable being
Between knowing and seeing
