No One Goes To Jail
You entered into crime with me, I know that you were willin’
And now your feigning innocence and mark me as the villain.
It’s only been through circumstance, the crime that we committed
Was solved by a detective who was slow and quite dimwitted.
Facing life in prison I’ve nothing left to fear.
Don’t beg me for your life again, that’s really why I’m here.
When both of us are in the grave, no one tells this tale.
When both of us are in the grave, no one goes to jail.
