My mission

to improve the cognition

of the opposition

with my rendition

sparks the ignition

for those to examine the conditions

which public servants such as politicians

actually live in

and compare it to the position

we’re in and in addition

remember they aren’t magicians

not everything they say comes to fruition

but these people don’t need to audition

for the role only their ambition

keeps us on the road to perdition

yet they’d prosecute for sedition

and probably call this ammunition

instead they’d have us make an omission

rather we lived in our partitions

as still this seems to be a war of attrition

we have been thrust in without our permission

we did not make this decision

yet have no choice but to accept submission

still full of doubts and suspicion

because the last coalition

failed the most vulnerable of our composition

and our premonitions

are predicting repetition!
