Insanity

The anger that filled his heart to the brim

was let out. The room was dark and too dim

unable to see the rage in the eyes

of the being before him, whose mind was full of lies.

Lies told by his ‘friend’, the light

of his life, whose face was always in sight.

but full of mischief were their eyes,

their brain a step ahead. Sane

was the strange being before but the ‘angel’ had already

started planting lies in his mind.

causing harm to his sanity,

awaiting madness, twisting clarity.
