Morally Gray. Some things are black. Others are white. Write about something morally gray. Fiction or non-fiction, poetry or Prose.
Under a gray morning sky
They embrace outside the motel. “In all the love I've ever felt for you, I have never loved you more than I do right here, right now, in this moment". Taking her face in his hands, holding her with his gaze, he repeats each word slowly, deliberately, before leaning in to kiss her. Returning his kiss is her only response. She steadies herself, all of her senses taking it in. From the sound of the rainwater running off the gutter and the smell of the sea air, as a pink sun struggles to break through an overcast sky. They say goodbye. He returns to his wife.
