Descriptive Seasons
Write a descriptive poem about one of the four seasons (Summer, Winter, Spring, Autumn), describing it in 500 words or less. It can, but does not have to rhyme. 3 different winners chosen. Winners followed.
Spring
She casts her warm smile upon her children
The sleeping babes feel the tender embrace
Yawning, they unfurl, showing their faces
The neighbors feel the shift and awake
The elders renew with vigor
Slowly her family rises
We call it spring.
