A poem about the color blue without mentioning the color
Like the lake lapping at the shore its cool calm waters soothing the burning of my sunburn. Like a snowdrift in the early morning light just as the dawn breaks. Like the iris' of my child when they look at me. Like sadness that seeps in the tiny cracks of my brain sucking all the joy out. Like a lazy summer sky with cotton candy for clouds.
