The Time Seeker - Warping Twin Worlds
Part one - The birth of a maniac
Prologue
February 14th, 1992. 3:15pm. 21 minutes until NASA launch 66:87.5 Code name: Warper.
Pain. Suffering. That’s all John felt when he woke up, in a silver, condensed plane. He was in a cage, inescapable due to 15 locks on it. Where was he? That’s when it hit him.
Ignorance.
He knew. They didn’t listen. They wouldn’t, anyway. No one was going to listen to a guy who could ‘predict the future’, and now it was only 15 minutes. 15 minutes until… it happened.
15 minutes.
John sighed. There was no point doing anything now. It was their fault. Instead, he leaned back into the cage and closed his eyes. He thought about his mother, probably at home thinking that he was crazy. Then he thought about his father, who was on the shuttle.
Explosion.
He had the vision again. The closer it was to happening, it hurt more and more. A headache throbbing and thumping in his head. A picture forming in the darkness of his subconscious. The shuttle, lifting off. It was coming. It was about to happen again. The explosion. The pain. The agony. The death.
Death.
Suddenly, the shuttle blew up, exploded, corpses flying into the water, splitting up into blood and organs as they impacted with the water. First was an astronaut who looked like his suit needed a wash. Then it was, his father. He split up, organs falling, ripping all over the place. The headache worsened, until John had to scream. Then, it was all over. The vision ceased, along with his headache. He opened his eyes again. If they had only listened to him.
If only.
Suddenly, John felt something, something he never felt before. He fought it back, but it screamed out when he saw the space shuttle explode through the single window of the plane. Then, the feeling took over him, controlled him. He now knew what that feeling was. Revenge. It consumed him like a speeding bullet. John felt the power. The great power. It enhanced his mind. Suddenly, everything, every single grain of information was flooding into his head. At first John was crying due to the intense pain. But then, came the laugh. laugh. It was a slight laugh at first, then it grew to an evil, intense laugh. Then he started to laugh louder and louder until John was maniacally laughing. With all this knowledge, he could do anything.
Anything.
Part two - a way out coming soon!
