Isolophobia

I miss you.

There is a girl with dark eyes

and bright ambitions.

I knew her before I was weighed down

by sadder impulses.

There is no one in the mirror anymore.

It’s the opposite of dysmorphia.

I am not bloated,

I am disappeared.

There is no future for invisible girls.

No way home.

Only the hope that that happier self,

might find us again.

That they might say, I miss you too.
