A mother’s love

For her newborn son

she would gather

All the colors of bliss

She talked to Zeus about the weather

Not a sunshine, her son shall miss.

Morpheus, the God of sleep, she would also meet

To make sure her baby boy

dreams no dream that is not sweet.

For his eternal wellness she tried

The godess Hygeia, to find

The godess inevitably cried

For her eyes were so kind

To meet Aphrodite she travelled for miles

"I want him to have a love that's true"

The Godess slightly smiled

" He does not lack love, he already has you".
