If only we knew .. 

If only we understood 

If only someone gave us the Love Filter 

Then maybe there wouldn’t be war 

Or allow kids to be detained in cages

Maybe there wouldn’t be parents neglecting their 1st born while high on meth 

Maybe we wouldn’t be dropping F - bombs @ 9:00am 

Maybe we would understand there is only 1 race  

Maybe we would be captivated by nature’s true beauty 

Maybe it’s to late 

Maybe you rather hate 

Maybe you are aware 

Maybe we just don’t care 

Maybe we pretend to understand who the enemy is only behind the ego 

Maybe we weren’t educated on kinetic energy 

Or Isaac Newton’s 3rd law of motion 

Maybe I’ll should act like I’m not aware

Maybe I’ll put it to rest and attempt to forget

If only we stop and observed our abstract notions 

Then maybe we give a warm blanket to the cold homeless man down by the bridge 

Struggling to get accepted by society 

Like he did, as a kid ..

(Less resistance more warm hearts) 

True victory is achieved when we surrender
