Disillusionment rains

Lightening screams

The world we know

There is no hope

Twisted in a web

Disappointment known

God knows why

This is how it goes

How can it be

To much shown

Love grows for all those

Family and friends

Await my death

You’d think it

would be enough

Fear gone who cares

The world is sad

Nothing is real

Sheep’s led

Lions feast

Broken plans

Books read

Preachers preach

Poor people seek

For what they have

Lions take the poor give

Nobody cares

it’s how it goes

A broken system

God only knows

Another gun

Another death

And so it goes

Nobody knows

Unless your dead

Peace comes

But still I mourn

For the lost sheep

They need our help

The systems broke

And so it goes
