Tell me a poem about abuse
Slave
Let me tell you something about abuse
It will happen when you’ll have no clue.
It can dim your vision in broad daylight,
Deafening your senses in a loud party night.
Abuse will come in different forms,
dirty touches, some banging thoughts.
You won’t speak out what happened to you,
not unless you realize it was so true.
You were telling yourself that it’s not happening,
though it never ceased and was certainly maddening.
I know it happened to all of us.
some day, some time, we felt disgust.
Taking million showers just wouldn’t help,
It ain’t easy to forget what you just felt.
I wish I was brave so I could take them in a cave,
burn them in their graves and say, “I’m not your slave.”
