Stop thinking that you have to live on a two income budget and decide that when you have children one spouse or the other needs to stay home and raise your children!

Do you understand why America has gotten so far away from family values? It’s because the average American family feels entitled to everything.

Schools don’t teach manners, they don’t teach etiquette, and they don’t teach good family values anymore.

Parents you have to lead by example not just bark orders at your children. You also have to love the other spouse so your children know they are in a safe environment. When you raise your children in a safe loving environment, it gives them confidence in themselves and when you give your children respect it teaches them how to respect others.

Above all else lead your children with a loving hand. A guiding hand. Be the one they always know they can come to and speak openly with about anything because you don’t want them learning the wrong things from strangers and paying for that later. Be active in their young lives even when you come home tired because you never get those moments back and time for rest is later after they grow up and leave your home.

Changing the world starts at home with one child at a time loving them enough to make them accountable for their own behavior and giving them the respect they should get when they earn it.

Just so y’all understand, I’m a mother of five grandmother of six. Someday they are going to have to look after me.
