Princess charming
Prince Sebastian and Princess Daniella were so in love. It was a love so strong that everyone in the kingdom of Lightenburg could feel it. They were to be wed in two weeks on Daniellas 18th Birthday. She was kind and loved helping people more than anything and that is why Sebastian, trying to impress his bride to be had gone to a village. There was a storm coming and he knew she would want him to help in any way he could.
“I know she loves me, but now she’ll see how great I can really be.” Sebastian thought, beaming valiantly as he trotted into the town on his black steed. “Eh, hemhemhem” he coughed obviously only to get the attention of the towns people. “I have come to see you… On my own accord of course, to make sure you, the lovely citizens of my kingdom to be, are prepared for the storm that is to come tonight.” Running his fingers through his fine blond locks he heard the buzz of the town’s people consulting each other and then coming to the conclusion that they were in fact prepared.
At the moment when Sebastian was turning around his steed to head back to the place a dark cloud appeared around him. “Muahahahaha!” an evil voice cackled.
Sebastian, knowing that this was bad news galloped into the forest away from the people of the town. He wanted to ensure that they wouldn’t get caught in the potential cross fire. “This is dark magic!" He thought. “Whoever you are, show yourself and I may spare you.”
“Muahahahaha!” and with the cackle the smoky black clouds that surrounded Sebastian and the mystery person settled on the ground.
“The Evil Wizard of Darkenburg.” Sebastian thought, struck with fear.
“Spare me? You think you shall be the one to spare me? HA, how wrong you are, for it is me that may spare you if you do exactly as I say.”
“The King and Princess banished you! A..a..after you tried to kill him for not letting you marry her. I could have you executed simply for being on this land.” Sebastian said, trying to remain brave.
“You will not marry her either. If I am to stay banished for all time you will suffer with me and the princess will suffer too. You two will never be together!” With that, the evil wizard cast a spell, the clouds rose and spun around. That time when they fell to the ground, Sebastian was alone, at the top of a stone tower, in a dungeon.
He had heard of the dungeon before and knew that it was said to be welded with impenetrable steel. He also heard that the tower was guarded not only by dark magic but of course, a dragon.
A full day and night passed and Daniella began to worry. The storm that Lightenburgs weather wizard had predicted had come and gone and her betrothed was nowhere to be found.
She hopped on her horse and rapidly rode to the town that Sebastian had been in. She then asked the towns people if they had seen the Prince.
“There was a dark cloud and then he was gone!” A man piped up from the town square.
“It smelled like evil!” A woman yelled, pulling her children in close.
“Oh no!” Daniella said “The evil wizard. I must save my prince.” She rushed back to the palace and packed for her quest. Then she quickly galloped away from the kingdom without a word to anyone.
She knew it would take her a full day to get to the tower in Darkenburg. That would make it so she had the cover of night on her side. “Nothing can stop me. I’ll save him.” She kept thinking to herself as she urged her horse to keep galloping despite the long distance.
Emerging from the thick forest Daniella saw the tower. She had only read about it and heard stories. It was taller than the tallest trees and reeked of pure evil. But through all the magic and evil at play she could still feel Sebastians love and knew he was alive.
Onward she went leaving her horse safely waiting in the forest. “How can I get through this evil wall of magic?” Daniella thought looking around at the dark and grey surroundings. Although it would be painful Daniella knew that the evil would not melt her armour and the strength of her love and positivity would be able to break through. The heat of the evil was nearly too much to bear but with tears streaming down her fair cheeks she continued until she collapsed sobbing on the inside of the evil wall. Daniella knew that that was not the worst of what she might have to face. She stood up and tucked her fiery red hair back into her helmet. She continued to the door of the tower.
About to put her hands on the handle that was around the size of her whole upper body she felt something behind her. With fear coursing through her she slowly pivoted on her heels and turned around to find herself only a foot away from the face of a dragon. An ordinary princess would have tried to run away. It’s a good thing Daniella has never been called an ordinary princess. Feeling the love of Sebastian seeping through the door her back was against. Hit with a wave a bravery she took advantage of the closeness of the dragon. Just as it was opening its mouth to breath fire she reached for her soward with both hands and yelled “ I’ll save you Sebastian!”
She was outside but her words echoed through the halls of the tower. With one swipe the dragons head fell to the ground. “Maybe I shouldn’t have yelled that, now the Evil Wizard knows I’m here.” She thought while wiping the black and blue blood from her weapon and putting it back in its holster.
While opening the ever so conveniently un locked tower door, she was still beaming with bravery. Whilst walking through the foyer it filled with the dark clouds exactly as she had imagined when the town’s people described them. “Mauhahahaha”, the cackle echoed through the tower as the Evil Wizard came into view. “Princess, what a nice suprise”
“Let Sebastian go!”
“Where are your manners? Do you not want to know how my banishment has been?”
“No, just let my love go!”
While this conversation was taking place Daniella was trying to figure out how to get passed the evil Wizard and to the top of the tower. Then it came to her. “He’s always loved dragons. And he dosent know that i’ve saline his. If he did I bet he would be awfully upset right now.” She thought and with a spiteful voice she said “Your dragon’s dead.”
Running past Daniella to his dragon outside the door he fell to his knees. “Noooo, How could you?” before he could turn around and cast a spell Daniella was gone.
She could feel the power of Sebastians love growing stronger as she flew up the stairs. With adrenaline coursing through her soul she kicked down the door. “Sebastian!”
“Daniella. How di-”
“I love you and I needed to save you!”
They could hear the evil wizard coming and Daniella knew she had to get Sebastian out or else the Evil Wizard would kill him. In he burst and threw a spell at Sebastian. However because Sebastian had known that would happen he dodged it and the steel bars of his cell were melted by the evil magic. He climbed out of his cage and ran to Daniella.
When they kissed there love became so strong that no evil stood a chance and the Evil Wizards magic was useless. Together they bound the wizard and knew the only way to stop him forever would be to bring him back to the kingdom and have him in the castle dungeon where Daniella and Sebastian’s love would keep his dark magic at bay forever.
The end <3
