Her (Part 2, No Mercy)
As I float through the air, my head begins to get foggy.
No, I think as my mind slips into oblivion.
I can’t even see my actions now, my mind is sleeping while she controls me.
***
What a pain, I think as I stare up at another one of her minions.
She slipped among the shadows, her eyes glowing a dark, blood red color.
Oh, a child this time, I think. I don’t let my exasperation show as I stare at Leena- or, Leena’s body. I can’t beleive I’ll have to hurt one of my own students.
“M-miss El-lsie,” a small child asks speaks. “What do we do? I’m... scared.”
A fith grader stares at the floor, wimpering “It’s just a dream, you’ll wake up any minute now... come on!”
A group of fourth grade boys looked as if they were about to charge.
“Everyone, BEHIND ME!” I hollered, and everyone seemed suprised I could speak so loud.
I spun in place, and I grabbed my ring of my fingers and pressed it to my forhead.
Magic surged through my body from where my ring touched my skin, and my simple pink dress became a pink jumper- covering my whole body. My coat became golden armor, snaking down my entire jumper, like golden snakes. My ever preasant pencil became my sword, and my clipboard became a sheild. My ring fell backwards, and fastened itself into my hair, and pulling my hair into a pony. The simple bown boots I wore grew laces, that when tied gave me an encredibal jumping ability.
I was ready for battle.
“Ooooh, a Twilight Warrior,” Leena-not-Leena giggled. “I’m soooo scared!”
“Leena?” A small voice asked. “I didn’t know this was why you couldn’t tell me. I’m- Im sorry.”
Leena-not-Leena snarled, sounding inhuman, like a horrid beast. She blasted magic at Dusa, but I jumped in the way, shoving my clipboard-sheild into the blast. The shadow Leena had thrown trapped her inside. She shrieked and witherd, but she couldn’t escape.
I marched forwards, raising my sword above my head, but Dusa grabbed my arm. “NO! Don’t hurt her,” Dusa cried.
Little did she know that small moment of distraction was enough time for Leena-not-Leena to escape, without me noticing.
As quick as lighning, she had thrown all the shadows in the room onto us- yes, us. I was pinned down, too- with no way to help the humans.
"Stop," a first grader yelled.
"No, Leena, stop, please," Dusa whined.
"It's not dream, IT'S NOT A DREAM!" A fith graader screamed.
"Oh, don't you hate it when people beg for mercy?" Leena cackled. "It's so anoying, but it really is amazing, too- I love the powerful feling!
