Challenge
Let's play a game
create a poem made completely out of song lyrics
Come a little bit closer.
Hear what I have to say.
Come away with me,
and I will write you a song.
If the sky we look upon should crumble and fall,
I know we’ll meet again some sunny day.
If you see my reflection in a snow-covered hill,
I will buy you a garden where your flowers can bloom.
And if you’re lost,
you can look,
and you will find me.
We can be heroes
and float down Grand Street and daylight
and we’ll have Halloween on Christmas
and we’ll keep on fighting till the end.
We’re fated to pretend.
God only knows what I’d be without you.
You—soft and only.
You—lost and lonely.
How wonderful life is while you’re in the world.
I’m still learning to love,
just starting to crawl;
we’re just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl,
and you’re my wonderwall.
