Le bon, le mauvais et le laid.
A place like nothing on earth. Full of trees that never die. They’re evergreen. This area has water that makes you thirst no more. So fresh, clean and filled with lots of natural goodness.
She loved her home. It was a place where she saw herself living for ages. That all changed when she had been called by the gods.
They captured her and put her in chains, telling her that she would pay for what she had done. She begged them to listen~ she was innocent.
But they decided to continue their ruling & she was found guilty with no time for a trial, or any proof whatsoever to show that she had been the one who had stolen the Queen’s precious gemstones.
They did find some in her hand that they thought was the Queen’s. She actually just found them by her cottage door & she wanted to hand them back to the Queen.
The Queen failed to believe her story and cursed the young lass. She was told to never return to her home and live the rest of her life on earth.
When she placed her hands on her head, she felt her hair change into serpents. She screamed and then there was a bright flash.
One of the gods transported her to her new dwelling~ earth. She looked around and saw a lake- it was not as magnificent as the one at her former home.
She looked up at the moon and said, ‘‘I guess this will have to do— for now.’’ The man in the moon gave a nod. She moved toward the lake & stared at her reflection. What was she?
Her skin had scales, and her locs were now snakes. Oh, the gods were going to pay for what they had done to her.
