Puzzled

Puzzled is the only word I have to describe it.

People say it’s obvious, but I was shocked by the split.

You love me. You don’t love me. You loved me at the time.

What does that even mean?

What am I supposed to do with that information?

I deserve an explanation for your sudden revelation.

Instead, you’ve become a ghost.

Viciously haunting me in my dreams.

In a million different scenarios, stories and themes.

I wish I never knew you.

I’d give anything to have never met.

I’d gladly return everything we enjoyed.

Instead of being left utterly destroyed.
