Athena’s Bullets

She shot the man who had the gun

The one who gave it to her

And Athena aimed at the man who gave her another reason to shoot

Bullet after bullet

Man after man

Her bullets flew

Her tears dropped

Athena was so confident to those who saw she had the gun

Athena was so dissatisfied with herself for pulling the trigger again and again

The bullet’s started to fly without Athena’s control

Zesus watched her with pride

Zesus watched her with guilt

He watched her with fear as to why she pulled the trigger in the first place

Athena kept shooting and shooting

Every time her phone buzzed a bullet flew

Every time a bullet flew her tears fell

None of it stopped for so long

Athena lost control of herself

All because she had a gun she allowed a man to hand her

Allowed a man to give her reason

So she finally gained some self control

And she shot herself
