The War of Ying & Yang

Inside my soul rages a battle

That never can be won or tamed

Black & White, Good & Evil

Never a grey middle ground

Which one is truly me?

When I have these dark thoughts,

I'm free yet wracked with guilt

For being that bad girl still.

But when I'm light and sunshiny,

I end up feeling fake and untrue

To my real self.

Whatever that is, whatever that means.

Who am I really under this facade?
