Blind Heartbreak

I wish I could write this in braille. Maybe, just maybe, you could read it then feel. My pain inside as you peek through the blinds in my mind. These words that arise as you avert your eyes. I write, with no expectation or reply just heartbreak defined. Just read b e t w e e n the lines, as you turn a blind eye and beckon me to try. I close my eyes and pretend that everything’s all right, with no future in sight. So, I hide behind the curtains that cry as I dry my eyes and you well with pride. The bumps and hives give rise to the braille words that you ignore as I express my feelings inside. The one-way words on my mind's traffic as I hurt but try. I hope you read this sometime, but you're blind...
