Another Day, Another Problem
"Not again," Lidia mutters, staring at the prison walls around her.
Her cell was still waiting for her, with the dusty old books, a lumpy purple couch behind a small, rickety wooden table, and a small dusty cot with ragged sheets and a thin pillow.
Maginastists had caught Lidia again, thanks to that human boy. She breaks up with him to keep him safe, then he turns her in!
I never should have fallen in love- it's all my fault! Lidia thinks, blaming herself yet again.
Just focus, she tells herself, trying to think.
They obviosly barred the outside of Lidia's window aswell, so she couldn't just blast the bars of and climb out the window. There was detectors in the doorway, so she couldn't just turn into a butterfly and fly outside when someone brought her food. The old passageway was full of earth, and no one could escape through there.
Wait, but the old storage path was open!
Lidia summoned her wings, and she flew up to the trapdoor above her.
Did they really think that some drywall and paint would hide it?
Lidia carefully peeled it away, using unhuman strenght and acurasy.
"Dang," she muttered. "It's great being a fairy."
