in life,

the pains are immense,

the troubles are immense,

yet;

these hurts are healed over,

by the joys life may bring;

in the vibrant hues of the sky,

in the happiness after a good cry;

in the love found in a mother,

in the arms of a brother;

in the way the birds sing,

in the newness of spring;

life is worth living,

because the joys weigh more,

than the heaviest of sorrows
