she was beautiful
C was beautiful
Like a pole I stood
Before her, beholding
Silent, warm, gusty, fresh, peaceful.
C was merciful
Sans hope, forgiven
Yet carved, “ages gone, perhaps long by gone?”
Silent guilty, deplore, broken, hopeful.
C was disappointed
Pain, yet waited.
“i am here now”, yet far away
Silent wrath, gentle distance, regretted.
C was loving
Failed, yet devoted
To this cruel creature, “of circumstances”
Silent love, gentle touch, soothing.
“C was and I was not”
Late but yet I was
Ripe, mental accord, “of togetherness”
Silent concur, C was, I was, But.
C was muddled
Of past and present
“you were, you are”,
Silent clarity, love, puzzle puzzled.
C was beautiful
Like a pole we stood
“it shall remain forever”
Silent me, Beautiful C.
