Undone
My first life ended halfway
Through the third attempt found out
Life is not the fun we thought
We earned by just showing up alive
A seemingly simple yet secret trick
Taught by those
Who finally passed away
Their second life’s begun
To unravel way too quick
A flicker flicks a way to fix
The liquor mixed it with a flavor
To sweet to go unnoticed
Strong in ways a heavy haze hungover
Hangs from what has been undone
Each life drags us to a place
We find cannot be found
By searching for the same old thing
We buried in the ground...
Once we cast, what burdens us
Too bulky to surmise
Any use the next life will
Be dug up from the ground
Deja Vu is the new voodoo
Rising from a grave
If taught in school we would learn the rule
And make into a law
No place is sacred, no time is right
No secrets to reveal, what time we spend
From start to end
These words we have just read
Took as long as one day living
As short as one day dead!!!
