Still as a dangerous predator,

Lumbering stealthily through the trees,

Intelligence in eyes that stay closed for much of their lives,

Still to surprise,

As its long limbs,

Cruise through the waters,

Before climbing slowly back up the trees of the Amazon,

And as it drifts slowly once more to another land,

A slow calm smile touches its lips,

A frown possibly as it hangs down from the limbs of a tree
