2020

2020 was supposed to be a fresh start

It was supposed to be a new beginning

But the new decade didn’t bring new beginning

It didn’t bring new light to the room

Sure the first few days were great

But it took a turn fast

In fact, I feel as if I have felt more pain in 2020, then I did in 2019

Though 2019 pain carried over

The new year didn’t add much

But the little that it did, made the past overflow

I didn’t get to start over, like I wanted

But here’s to hope that I can slowly progress into a better decade

Thanks 2020, lets see how this goes
