Pandemic. Write about an outbreak, a disease, a pandemic. Fiction or non-fiction, poetry or Prose.
Yam lok
There arose an epidemic.The whole village was wiped off. Only few people survived. Raghu aged 48 & Reema aged 52 died. After some time they got up.Those who had survived asked,
“How is it that you became alive”
We went to other universe and there we were told,
“The other Raghu aged 16 and Reema aged 17 we wanted and not you people. You go back. You have still life span. That’s why we came back”
Immediately Raghu aged 16 and Reema aged 17 in the village expired of heart attack.
Afterwards Raghu aged 48 & Reema aged 52 lived up to the ages of 70. And as long as they lived they were telling people that they have seen ”Yam lok” means hell in our mythology ie indian mythology.
