Prologue
There was a boy running down a long hall way. He had brown hair, a dark chestnut that curled at the ends. He looked back only to let me see his eyes... They were not something of what I had expected. There was one eye, a light, faded sky blue. Then the other eye... It was two completely diffrent colors. A dark, forest green and with splotches of... a cardinal purple? Such a unique eye color...
This boy was young, probably only six or seven years old. He looked back again. This boy running from something... or someone.
It was eriee... this place. There were long columns supporting the ceiling, but there was something off... It was completly silent in this place. I couldn’t hear the pounding footsteps of the boy, his heavy breathing. I couldn’t hear the figure that was following him.
The fiure was ominous; they were covered in a cloak of white, face covered by a drooping hood. The only thing that I could see about this being, not know if it’s a demon or a nightmarish being of sorts, was that it had one, glowing gold eye, but that was it.
The boy looked forward again, only to be met with a wall. He slammed face first and was knocked back onto the floor. He scurried around on his knees, revealing that the landing had given him a bloody nose. He looked so frightened that it frightened me.
The figured loomed over the boy, casting a shadow. As the shadow loomed over the boy, his breathing quickened by the rapid falling and rising of his chest. Then, there was a blood curling scream, the only sound that I would be able take away from this nightmare, before my vision was filled with a deep, scarlet red.
