Humpty Dumpty’s Fatal Plunge

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.

A smile appears

for he yearns for this death

an eternal sleep

after his final breath.

But the view from halfway

only fills him with sorrow

for now he will not see

the sunrise tomorrow.

The smile has faded,

replaced by a frown

and all his mistakes in life

follow him down.
