Lies?

You promised to stay by my side. To protect me from everything, even myself and my broken thoughts. The blades in my room and the insults in my head. The world outside and inside. You always stayed next to me. We were lovers once.

I believed you.

So why did you break me by lying? Why did you tell me you'd protect me if you were just going to die? You promised and you died. You died for me. You lived for me. You loved me. And I loved you back. With everything I had. I was so stupid to believe you, when you said to always be by my side.
