Old blokes who think they know what’s best for me.

No ambitions. No goals.

I have a job,

I have a car.

Am I a joke?

It shouldn’t be that difficult.

I am reasonable, understanding, generous and kind.

If I do say so myself, I would be an exceptional wife.

I do not turn my back from a door held open by a man.

Or raise a white flag of equality when asked to cook.

Am I single?

Indubitably.

I suppose it’s expected.

It would take a great man for me to except him.
