I want a love that you read about in novels.

Not Christian fiction.

Not Christian Grey.

But I want romance.

Troubles

Disagreements

Conflicts.

I understand the reality. I don’t mind that. Neither of us will be perfect.

But we’ll both be the perfect counterpart to the other.

I want a love that is serious.

Serious means we though about it.

It wasn’t a whirlwind love, but rooted deeply into our hearts.

I want flowers

And evening dinners.

Candles and promises.

I want a love that exists in novels. It can happen, right?
