The Dirge of Worry

The march of the beat of the heart

Has lost sync with the tune of the song

The steps of the dance fell apart

As the rhythm just stutters along

Because Worry has struck up a dirge

That drowns out the rhythms of Peace

And with every ominous surge

The feet of my heart miss a beat

The notes of Peace I no longer can hear

For Worry has medlied with the March of Fear
