Hope eludes me

I can't exactly understand why

I am too busy racking my brain trying to find the source of the pain

What trauma caused me to be the way I am today

On days like this I feel insane

I wish I could sleep the day away

But my mind won't let me

It replays terrible memories and revels in my agony as I am tortured by my past
